During the course of two week, we opened the 'embroidery office' right outside of the official city building in the Kaludjerica neighborhood, located in the outskirts of Belgrade. Our final aim was to produce 'Kaludjerica from A to Sh', a tapestry composed of the thirty letters of the cyrilic alphabet, each letter depicting something unique to this neighborhood. We asked people to contribute words, drawings, and needlework.
